JLO Challenge #3

Here's my entry for the JLO card design challenge # 3. Check out the JLO blog to see the sketch pattern.

Warm Summer Day Card

This card is just a scenic card I made back in March using the Relaxtion Tree for All Seasons and I Love My Chihuahua set from JessicaLynnOriginal. The leaves on the tree are all on puffy pads.

Cardmaking Weekend

Just got back from a wonderful long weekend. Kind of a mini-card making retreat where my friend I each made a card following a specific sketch challenge.

One of the first ones I did reminds me of the age-old riddle, which came first...the chicken or the egg?

More Cardmaking Weekend

Another version of the sketch challenge above. This is the one I made first. As soon as I had seen the SC217 challenge, I knew I wanted to use the stamp Adorabee's Friend from Maybe HAPBEE Birthday would have been more appropriate. :)

Paper: Cardstock, pattern
Ink: Rubber Stampede Color: Markers
Extras: Glitter pen, brads

Hoppy Easter

I really wanted to use pastels for my cards this weekend. This one turned out to be kind of a cross between Easter and St. Patrick's Day!

I just love that chicken's face. I colored the top part in to make him a rooster. The hen is out shopping, so he's got egg-sitting duty. He's a little surprised at how she personalized it!

Black, White and Gray Card Swap

This is my contribution to the Black, White & Gray Card Swap on Splitcoast. I used sketch challenge 213 for my layout.

Stamps: JessicaLynnOriginal Wedding Words and More stamp set Paper: Cardstock, pattern
Ink: Rubber Stampede Color: None Extras: Snowflake embellishment, corner punchTo add some dimension to the sentiment panel, I tapped my stamp pad over the cardstock. I really like that effect.

I Love My Chihuahua Card

While watching the Oscars tonight, I was working on a card for sketch challenge 210 on Splitcoast. It's hard to see in the picture, but the paw print has been gone over with the glitter pen for some added sparkle.

Hot dog!

Another day, another sketch challenge. :) All images from the Love My Chihuahua stamp sat at JessicaLynnOriginal.

Save the Oceans

This is another card I did for a sketch challenge. The light blue paper I dabbed with the ink pad and the text is written over with a glitter pen. The two critters are on padding to be 3-D.

Sketch Challenge

Here's a card I made for SCS Sketch Challenge 213. The sentiment and the stamped heart are from the JessicaLynnOriginal True Love and Wedding Words set.
