Cardmaking Weekend

Image
Just got back from a wonderful long weekend. Kind of a mini-card making retreat where my friend I each made a card following a specific sketch challenge.

One of the first ones I did reminds me of the age-old riddle, which came first...the chicken or the egg?

More Cardmaking Weekend

Another version of the sketch challenge above. This is the one I made first. As soon as I had seen the SC217 challenge, I knew I wanted to use the stamp Adorabee's Friend from JessicaLynnOriginal.com. Maybe HAPBEE Birthday would have been more appropriate. :)

Hoppy Easter

I really wanted to use pastels for my cards this weekend. This one turned out to be kind of a cross between Easter and St. Patrick's Day!

I just love that chicken's face. I colored the top part in to make him a rooster. The hen is out shopping, so he's got egg-sitting duty. He's a little surprised at how she personalized it!
